Ruby Luna and The Fox live at KC GRAD Garden
“Ruby Luna and The Fox” are Angel Rose and Samantha Rose. These two genderqueers live outside of the prescribed boundaries of society, and so does their music. Described as “Dreamy Freak Pop meets Alien Folk”, their sound is witness to the waves of existence and the colors of mountains.
Their sound waves are reminiscent of Diane Cluck, Coco Rosie, Big Thief, and Joanna Newsom, and their live performance integrates performance art that strives to fully connect to the present and stand in awe of the human spirit.
Angel Rose’s debut EP, Heirloom, released in August 2018, is a memoir of songs written over many years in their quest to better understand close intimate interactions, fears, struggles, communion and ecstasy. Heirloom, can be found on
Ruby Luna and The Fox has performed throughout the Greater Boston Area and beyond, from living rooms to art galleries to local venue gems, Middle East Upstairs, Dorchester Arts Project, Plough and Stars, and more. Seasoned musicians, Angel and Samantha have performed with several touring groups and have played hundreds of shows throughout the US over the past 15 years. Ruby Luna and The Fox officially announced their European and US tours for the Summer of 2019 to promote their upcoming EP set to release in July 2019.
